Instagram Giveaway prize for pumpkin.dragon | Anime Portrait

Last weekend I finished the raffle prize for pumpkin.dragon from instagram after doing a bit of final polishing. I actually tried to finish it before I went on vacation two weeks ago, but I couldn't do it in time. I used my last days off to finish the prize tho and had some really nice, long art sessions these past days >v<
pumpkin.dragon asked for an anime portrait of herself that she could give to her boyfriend as a present. Doing an anime portrait of a real person has been a first for me, as usually I am drawing fictional characters. Nonetheless it has been a fun experience to draw a character with photo references and getting the characteristics right.
And it also taught me a bit about personal habits I seem to have when it comes to drawing, i.e. I noticed, I do tend to elongate the hair length.
With that being said, I'm so happy that pumpkin likes how the prize turned out and I do hope her boyfriend will like this gift as well ;v; 💕
